Job summary

CCV is seeking a Special Needs Pastor to collaborate with the Kids/Students Ministry, creating inclusive environments for children, teens, and adults to experience God’s love.

The role leads program oversight across ages, recruits and trains volunteers, ensures safety and compassion, and partners with campus pastors to grow engagement and deliver Christ-centered ministry that serves every family.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard volunteers with a heart for special needs ministry, ensuring safety protocols and background checks.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and spiritual development to volunteers.
• Foster a culture of encouragement, accountability, and excellence among volunteers.
• Build authentic relationships with families through visitation and community engagement.
• Serve as a pastoral resource, offering spiritual guidance and practical tools for navigating life with special needs.
• Lead all aspects of Special Needs Ministry programming across age groups, ensuring inclusive, engaging experiences.
• Design and implement curriculum accommodating diverse learning and sensory needs.
• Partner with Kids and Students Ministries to integrate participants into broader programming.
• Collaborate with Campus Pastor to grow attendance and deepen engagement.
• Plan and execute events such as Night to Shine, Easter, Christmas Eve, and Special Needs Camp.
