Job summary

New Life Church in Aitkin, MN is seeking a relationally warm Senior Pastor to lead a growing, multi-generational congregation affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The pastor will cast vision, build momentum and shepherd a team focused on mission and discipleship.

The role emphasizes developing leaders, mobilizing volunteers and guiding ministry toward a larger facility and stronger community impact.

Qualifications

• Be in agreement with the C&MA Statement of Faith.
• Be ordained, or willing to be ordained in the C&MA.
• Agree with New Life Church’s values and beliefs.
• Five to ten years of associate or senior pastor experience in growing ministry.
• Preach 40 - 44 weeks per year and regularly invite people to take their next step of faith.

Responsibilities

• Lead the church in vision casting, ministry strategy and growth.
• Develop leaders, mobilize volunteers and help individuals discover and use their spiritual gifts.
• Shepherd and invest in families, youth and children and build a healthy church culture.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team and Elders to shape a compelling, shared future.

Education

Theological or Bible degree preferred
