Job summary

Deeper Life in Christ Church in Kentucky seeks a Senior Pastor to lead as spiritual teacher, shepherd, and visionary. The role focuses on preaching, discipleship, staff oversight, and ministry alignment with CMA doctrine.

This is a part-time exempt position (about 20 hours/week) with potential to grow to full time. Leadership experience and a mature personal faith are essential for guiding a multi-generational church family in obedience to Christ and the Great Commission.

Qualifications

• Credentialed and licensed by the Christian & Missionary Alliance or willing to pursue licensing.
• Minimum of 5 years pastoral leadership experience.
• Demonstrated preaching, team leadership, and pastoral care.
• Ability to lead multi-generational ministry with unity and mission.

Responsibilities

• Preaching and teaching weekly in doctrinally sound messages.
• Provide pastoral care through prayer, visitation and counseling.
• Lead and oversee ministry teams and volunteers.
• Develop and cast vision with elders for multi‑generational ministry.
• Ensure governance, licensing steps, and alignment with CMA doctrine.
