Job summary

Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee seeks a Head Football Coach to lead and develop our NCAA Division II program. You will set strategic direction, supervise staff, recruit student-athletes, and ensure academic progress while upholding the College’s values.

The role requires a proven record of program leadership, competitive success, and commitment to integrity, discipline, and student-athlete welfare. You will collaborate with campus partners, manage resources, and represent Lane College in SIAC

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible football coaching experience at the collegiate level.
Ability to recruit and retain academically qualified student-athletes.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership, direction, and administration of Lane College football program.
Develop and implement offensive, defensive, and special teams strategies to maximize performance.
Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain talent while managing staff and resources.
Monitor student-athlete academic progress and ensure eligibility and degree completion.
Maintain NCAA, SIAC, and institutional compliance and ethical standards.
