Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physics, Engineering Physics, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Leadership, administrative, or program management experience in higher education.
• Experience securing or supporting externally funded research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics.
• Lead curriculum and program assessment and continuous improvement.
• Advance externally funded research and interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Oversee budgeting, facilities, and resources for the department.
• Recruit, retain, and graduate students; support post-graduate success.
