Job summary

Mercer County Technical Schools seeks a visionary successor superintendent to lead the district starting July 1, 2027. The ideal candidate will build trust, foster transparent leadership across campuses, and strengthen partnerships with sending districts, postsecondary institutions, and industry partners.

The salary range is $210,000 to $230,000, subject to qualifications, experience, and contract negotiations. Applications will be accepted through January 28, 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong technical/vocational program knowledge and extensive CTE experience recommended.
• Visionary, situational leader with ability to craft unified district vision and strategic plan.
• Excellent relationship builder with a track record of transparent communication and shared decision-making with Board, staff, sending districts, and county partners.
• Strong and creative manager of fiscal and facility resources, addressing program expansion, staffing, and operational alignment.
• Commitment to equity of access and opportunity for students across all nine sending districts.
