Catholic Health Initiatives seeks a visionary Chair for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services at Creighton University Medical Center CHI Health. You will lead clinical, research, and educational activities, shaping a comprehensive diagnostic pathology program within a large integrated health system.

You must be board-certified in pathology, eligible for Nebraska licensure, and able to hold Associate or Full Professor rank, bringing a track record of leadership in an academic

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Pathology (Anatomic and/or Clinical)
• Active Nebraska medical license or eligibility
• Experience leading an academic pathology department or division
• Proven leadership and collaborative management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic, clinical, and administrative leadership for the Department of Pathology.
• Set strategic direction and align faculty, operations and outreach with School of Medicine and CHI Health priorities.
• Lead clinical service, case sign-out, and fiscal performance while building enterprise-wide alliances.
• Support a robust GME program and strong learning environment; foster research and scholarly productivity.
