Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• Eligibility for faculty appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor.
• Initial professional preparation in occupational therapy.
• Current certification as an occupational therapist (NBCOT).
• Eligibility for OT licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary, collaborative, inclusive leadership for the Department of Occupational Therapy.
• Develop and implement strategic direction aligned with the College and University missions.
• Promote excellence and innovation in OT education across entry points (ASOT, MSOT, OTD).
• Support program development, assessment, and continuous improvement of curricula.
• Oversee accreditation readiness and compliance with ACOTE requirements.
• Foster interprofessional collaboration and external partnerships to advance research and education.
