Oakland Christian School is seeking a passionate Athletic Director to lead K-12 athletic programs, align with school mission, and foster Christ-centered leadership. You will oversee coaches, student-athlete development, facilities, and school culture while ensuring compliance with MIAC and MHSAA.

The role requires strong administration, fundraising, and communication skills, with a focus on long-term program growth and positive campus life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop coaches and student-athletes.
• Experience in athletic administration or coaching in a Christian school setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor coaches across all sports to align with school mission and MIAC/MHSAA rules.
• Support student-athletes academically, spiritually, and physically; oversee strength and conditioning and college recruitment guidance.
• Plan and upgrade athletic facilities; manage budgets and secure funding/resources for upgrades.
• Promote school spirit and culture through events, programs, and community involvement.
• Ensure compliance with state/league regulations; coordinate events, transportation, and communications with stakeholders.
