Job summary

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) seeks a skilled Grant Manager in the Vision Zero Division to lead and evaluate federally funded highway safety programs. You will shape applications, allocate funds, and coordinate with FHWA/NHTSA partners to advance safety initiatives.

The incumbent will oversee development of the annual Highway Safety Plan, Section 405 applications, and annual reports while ensuring compliance with federal requirements and district priorities across agencies and

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/graduate education in related fields; preferred degree in safety, engineering, or public administration.
• Experience with highway safety programs, grant management, and data analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, direct, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate DDOT highway safety grant programs.
• Assist with annual Highway Safety Plan, Section 405 application, and annual report.
• Ensure funding reflects district priorities and complies with NHTSA/FHWA guidance.
• Coordinate with CFO, NHTSA, FHWA and other agencies to manage grants.
