Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. seeks a Manager, Vision Systems to lead the vision-inspection program, drive quality and output improvements, and manage a team across production, engineering, and HQ relationships.

The role requires deep experience with vision equipment, root-cause analysis, and TPM/PM principles, with a focus on safe, reliable systems and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/related field.
• 7–10+ years in manufacturing, automation, or a highly automated environment.
• 3–6+ years leading people, technical teams, or multiple processes.
• Experience with vision systems or automated inspection equipment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead Vision Systems activities to maximize yield and OEE.
• Manage inspection system performance and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and changes with stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to Vision Systems team.
• Drive root-cause analysis and 8D problem-solving when needed.
• Ensure documentation, standards, and SMS compliance.
• Promote safety, 5S3R, and continuous improvement initiatives.
