Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Vision Systems Launch Engineer to support the implementation of new vision technologies within automated manufacturing environments. This role will integrate and validate machine vision systems on robotic platforms while supporting launch activities from installation through production startup.
The main responsibility is deployment to plants to support vision upgrades, with travel to US plants (approximately 25%).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in industrial robotics and automation.
- Experience integrating, programming, troubleshooting and supporting machine vision systems.
- Robot troubleshooting experience, preferably with FANUC.
- Experience supporting manufacturing launches, equipment commissioning, or production startups.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Position Overview

This individual will play a key role in integrating and validating machine vision systems on robotic platforms while supporting launch execution activities from installation through production startup. The mainly responsibility will be deployment to plants to support Vision System upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting industrial robotics and automation systems - Controls Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Vision Engineer, Automation Engineer background
- Experience integrating, programming, troubleshooting and supporting machine vision systems
- Robot troubleshooting experience - preferably with FANUC
- Paint experience is not necessary but would be preferable
- Experience supporting manufacturing launches, equipment commissioning, or production startups.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
