Job summary

Apple seeks a Product Design Engineer to own the mechanical design of parts, assemblies, and modules within Apple Vision products. You will manage analysis, assembly, and reliability, collaborating with Industrial Design, Project Management, Manufacturing, EE, Display, Camera, and more to bring designs from concept to life.

You will engage in frequent multi-disciplinary collaboration, lead with practical materials and manufacturing knowledge, and communicate complex concepts clearly to teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
• 2-5+ years of hands-on consumer electronics product design experience.
• Strong analytical skills; experience selecting materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and GD&T; ability to create 2D drawings.
• Experience with external vendors (DFM/DFA, FAI/CPK).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the mechanical design of parts, assemblies, and modules for Apple Vision products.
