Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a TVI to provide direct, consultative, and assessment-based services for students with visual impairments, ages birth through 21, within school or community settings.

The role includes developing IEP-aligned goals, preparing instructional materials, coordinating with families and school staff, employing ECC and assistive technology, and documenting progress within district timelines. Occasional home or care settings may apply.

Qualifications

• Educational Specialist Instruction - VI credential required.
• Experience coordinating IEP goals and services.
• Ability to work with students 0–22 with visual impairments.
• Familiarity with Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) and AT needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consult TVI services per IEP.
• Assess eligibility using FVA/LMA and ECC/AT needs.
• Schedule caseload and calendar; manage service times.
• Develop sequential instruction aligned to IEP goals.
• Write logs within 72 hours of service.
• Educate staff and parents on ECC, AT, and resources.
• Recommend environmental adjustments for school and home.
• Attend IEP/planning meetings for assigned students.
• Support Core ECC skills and IEP objectives.
