Qualifications

  • Must hold or be eligible to hold a Georgia Professional Standards Commission Certification in the area of Special Education Visual Impairment Endorsement.
  • Experience working in a K-12 setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses and documents students’ education needs to develop instructional plans.
  • Plans instructional materials and resources for visually impaired students.
  • Promotes active learning to facilitate student acquisition of skills.
