Job summary

Walmart Inc. in TEGA CAY, SC is seeking an optician/apprentice optician to drive sales in the Vision Center by presenting eyewear, ensuring accurate pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock levels.

The role includes supervising associates, protecting assets, and delivering excellent customer service in a compliance-driven environment. You will educate Members/Customers, obtain measurements and prescriptions, and participate in minor repairs while upholding privacy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail and/or optical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective eyewear presentation and accurate pricing and in-stock levels.
• Uphold company policies, protect assets, and supervise adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Provide training, mentoring, and development opportunities for Vision Center associates.
• Consult with Members/Customers to select products meeting their needs and ensure confidentiality of records.
