Job summary

VisionWorks in Georgia is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to greet patients, help with eye health testing, and guide customers through the Visionworks experience. You will maintain patient records, coordinate with the OD, and support exam lane operations with care and professionalism.

The role emphasizes a friendly, human approach, strong teamwork, and the ability to switch from front desk to sales floor, assisting patients with product information and services

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
