CIBTvisas, Inc. is seeking a Visa Consultant to deliver superior service for travel visa and passport needs. You will own the customer relationship from document identification through submission and pickup, providing expert guidance and timely updates throughout the process.

You will maintain high standards of accuracy, collaborate with internal teams, and educate clients on added-value services while upholding strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Science or an Associate degree with two years' experience or equivalent.
• 1–5 years' experience; travel, hospitality or embassy/consulate relations is highly desirable.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong client service mentality.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in processing documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest level of customer service in identifying required documents, application preparation, validation, submission, pick up and return to customer for visas and related services.
• Provide current information on visa requirements, processing and delivery; assist customers in making informed decisions.
• Ensure customers understand requirements and that applications are accurate, complete and timely; provide real-time updates.
• Maintain SLA standards and handle high volumes of calls and emails courteously and professionally.
• Develop expertise in visa and passport processing to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with Processing, Dispatch, Liaison teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Educate customers about value-added products and expand customer base; resolve issues proactively.
• Document information in the secure database with data integrity and retention.
• Stay updated on product/service enhancements and system changes; assist colleagues as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and secure handling of PII and other data.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies; uphold ethical standards.

Job description

CIBT Visa Consultants provide the highest level of service to customers requiring priority travel visas and documents. They take ownership of the customer relationship, completing and processing all travel document needs, as well as providing expert consultation and support to the customer throughout the process. Customers may include multinational corporations, government, travel and leisure industry, and individuals. Our Visa Consultants offer exceptional service, responsiveness, and the utmost professionalism to all customers, ensuring travel documents are obtained as easily and as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Provide highest level of customer service in identifying required documents, application preparation, validation, submission, pick up and return to customer, for visas, passports. and related services, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely processing
• Provide current, accurate information to customer regarding visa and passport requirements, processing, and delivery; assist customer in making informed decisions
• Ensure customer has clear understanding of requirements and that all applications and documents submitted are accurate, complete, and timely Provide customer with real-time updates throughout the process
• Promote best practice, ensuring all Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards are met or exceeded; effectively handle a high volume of calls and emails in consistent, courteous, and professional manner
• Develop expert skill in visa and passport processing, maximizing efficiency and productivity
• Work closely with CIBT teams such as Processing, Dispatch, Liaison to ensure seamless process for every customer
• Build a dedicated and expanded customer base; educate customers about added-value products that may benefit them; demonstrate initiative in providing solutions and resolving client issues
• Document information in CIBT secure database in accordance with company protocol, ensuring data integrity and appropriate records retention schedule
• Stay abreast of all product/service enhancements, system updates, and changes to requirements
  Assist colleagues and other teams as requested
• Maintain strict client confidentiality, ensuring secure document handling and protection of client Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and all other data
• Complete all work in strict compliance with law, regulations, and company policies, supporting CIBT's strong ethical culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree or Associates Degree with two years' experience or equivalent
• 1-5 years' experience; highly desirable: experience in travel, hospitality or embassy/consulate relations
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong client service mentality
• Solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Hourly Rate: $23 - $26 (depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors)
