Description

SUMMARY: The Virtual Surveyor will provide customers and coordinators with accurate and timely reviews of service needs, quantities, and pricing options for relocations using the QTG (Quotes To Go) Virtual Surveying Platform. Responsibilities include providing estimates or quotes, educating customers on the move process, and setting expectations to ensure high customer satisfaction. The role also involves supplying information for the Booking Coordinator to determine service needs, move pricing, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual surveys for Armstrong-specific agencies, Military Booking Coordinators, and direct customers.
  • Provide detailed lists of required services, quantities, and photo documentation as per checklists.
  • Complete and submit estimates using Quotes-To-Go software.
  • Review relevant literature or checklists with customers.
  • Adhere to paperwork requirements in checklists.
  • Complete activity reports and attend training programs.
  • Provide quotes for services, ensuring all options are clear to customers.
  • Set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in in-home visual surveying within the Household Goods (HHG) industry.
  • At least 1 year of business development or sales experience.
  • High School diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize workflow.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and develop positive relationships.
  • Attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Ability to talk and hear regularly.
  • Occasional lifting of supplies up to 10 pounds.
  • Sitting for long periods, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
