Job summary

A virtual education company is seeking certified educators to deliver remote instruction to students in Minnesota. This 1099 contract position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans and managing student performance. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 am-3:30 pm CST. This role is fully remote and offers an immediate start date.

Job description

Daily Rate: $280 Fully Remote 1099 Contract Opportunity. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am-3:30 pm CST, starting ASAP for this school year.

Case management only approximately 25 students on the caseload. Minnesota Students with Disabilities certification (required) + authorized to work in the US. Teach the curriculum of the school on district virtual platform, attend district PD + faculty meetings, record student progress, and partner with in-class facilitator who is physically in class with students.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates are based on available placement opportunities upon completion of the application process.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certification in one of the areas above.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
