Position Summary

Augusta Health is seeking a PRN, NIGHTS (7P-7A) virtual sitter monitor technician. The virtual monitor tech provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients to ensure safety and prevent injury. Responsibilities include verbal redirection of at-risk behaviors, summoning nursing staff when needed, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one continuous observation for injury prevention of high-risk patients.
  • Maintain visual contact with patients at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare team to ensure prompt intervention.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hospital/clinical/patient care experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Windows skills.
