About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide remote interpreting services for K-12 students in Renton, Washington. In this role, you will facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers or instructors in a virtual learning environment.

What Youll Be Doing

• Provide real-time interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring clear communication in virtual classrooms.
• Translate lectures, discussions, and instructional materials into American Sign Language (ASL).
• Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to ensure effective communication and student engagement.
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights on communication needs and accommodations for students.
