Virtual School Psychologist Opening in Detroit, MI - Remote Educational Assessment Expert

VocoVision is expanding our virtual education team and seeking skilled School Psychologists to provide remote assessment services to K-12 students nationwide. Our telehealth platform connects education specialists with schools in need, creating flexible opportunities that benefit both students and professionals through innovative technology solutions.

Position Overview
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Mixed K-12 caseload with elementary focus
  • Supporting approximately 45-55 students
  • Virtual assessment and meeting platform
  • Focus on comprehensive evaluations
  • Collaboration with onsite implementation teams
  • Opportunity to work with diverse student populations
Core Functions
  • Conducting virtual psychoeducational evaluations
  • Administering standardized cognitive assessments
  • Performing academic achievement testing
  • Writing detailed evaluation reports
  • Presenting findings at eligibility meetings
  • Consulting with educators on intervention strategies
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Supporting development of individualized education plans
  • Maintaining thorough electronic documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in School Psychology
  • Active Michigan School Psychologist license
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
  • Experience with virtual testing platforms
  • Strong understanding of special education laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students virtually
