Job summary

Fullmind partners with hundreds of U.S. schools to deliver live-streamed occupational therapy to students in a remote setting. This 1099 contract role supports the school-year calendar with flexible start dates based on placement availability.

You will deliver high-quality OT instruction, assess motor and sensory skills, and set individualized goals within IEPs, collaborating with teachers, case managers, and families to maximize student progress.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• MN Board of Occupational Therapy Practice license or OT Compact privilege from listed states.
• Experience with telepractice platforms for assessment and therapy in a school/IEP setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality OT instruction in a remote classroom, building rapport and momentum
• Evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills and translate findings into actionable goals
• Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP in a remote setting
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with district-required rigor
• Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to align on student progress

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality OT instruction in a remote classroom, building the same rapport and momentum an in-person therapist would
• Evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, and translate findings into clear, actionable goals
• Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP in a remote setting.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require
• Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators — to keep everyone aligned on student progress

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• A Minnesota OT license from the MN Board of Occupational Therapy Practice . Or an OT Compact privilege from Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin
• Comfort and experience with telepractice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP setting
• A reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace
• Strong remote-collaboration skills. You'll be a full partner to classroom teachers, case managers, and families even without being in the building
• Authorization to work in the United States

This is a 1099 contract position; it does not include employee benefits. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.
