Job summary

Fullmind is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver remote, IEP-driven OT instruction to students via telepractice. This is a 1099 independent contractor position aligned with the school district calendar.

You will evaluate fine motor and sensory skills, design individualized plans, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, case managers, and families. A Master's/Doctorate in OT, active state license, NBCOT, and authorization to work in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Valid State license in Occupational Therapy. NBCOT certification.
• Experience with telepractice platforms for school/IEP settings.
• FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, reliable internet, private workspace.
• Strong remote-collaboration with teachers, case managers, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality OT instruction in a remote classroom, building rapport and momentum.
• Evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills; translate findings into actionable goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans per each student's IEP in remote settings.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with district-level rigor.
• Partner with school staff to align on student progress.

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality OT instruction in a remote classroom, building the same rapport and momentum an in-person therapist would
• Evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, and translate findings into clear, actionable goals
• Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP in a remote setting.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require
• Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators — to keep everyone aligned on student progress

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Valid State license in Occupational Therapy. And a valid certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Comfort and experience with telepractice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP setting
• A reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace
• Strong remote-collaboration skills. You'll be a full partner to classroom teachers, case managers, and families even without being in the building
• Authorization to work in the United States

This is a 1099 contract position; it does not include employee benefits. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.
