Virtual Sales Representative
Services Summary

The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) is responsible for engaging health care professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)’ selling potential and meet program and Client objectives. The VSR develops and maintains relationships with HCPs and educates them about product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The VSR utilizes approved tools for product and program promotion and maintains a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge.

Essential Services
  1. Manage daily call responsibilities according to defined expectations, with the purpose of achieving KPIs.
  2. Promote Client's product(s) via outbound calls to HCPs, engaging them in program discussions to meet sales and market share goals.
  3. Respond to inbound calls from HCPs to address questions regarding product(s).
  4. Profile and manage targeted HCP lists, providing value-added benefits to grow product volume.
  5. Maintain call productivity and metrics as required by the program.
  6. Qualify or disqualify HCPs through prospecting calls based on predefined questions.
  7. Verify and document responses and follow-up actions in CRM systems.
  8. Communicate effectively using proper terminology and approved messaging.
  9. Maintain thorough knowledge of client products and programs.
  10. Listen and respond to customer needs and questions appropriately.
  11. Create and maintain a positive impression with clients and customers.
  12. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and privacy guidelines.
  13. Participate in teleconferences, training sessions, and represent the client at conventions when applicable.
Key Working Relationships
  1. Report to Amplity Sales Manager.
  2. Collaborate with other VSRs, client services, and support teams.
  3. Maintain positive relationships with customers and client contacts.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of Pharma Sales experience.
  • Respiratory experience and clinical understanding (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience with Respiratory products and operations.
  • Ability to explain complex scientific information over the phone.
  • Adaptability to a changing marketing environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Professional phone manner and active listening skills.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical/medical information.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and complete training successfully.
