Job summary

Delfina Medical Group is hiring a full-time, bilingual Registered Dietitian and IBCLC for a 100% virtual role to support patients through pregnancy and postpartum. This combined clinical and program development position advances care via telemedicine and multi-state licensure plans.

The role emphasizes nutrition, lactation support, protocol creation, and patient education, with growth into additional states as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
• Licensed to practice as a dietitian in at least three states (Maryland, Nevada, Illinois, Texas).
• Willing to obtain additional state licenses.
• Fluent in English and Spanish. This is required.
• Two+ years providing pregnancy-related nutrition care including gestational diabetes and T1/T2 diabetes.

Responsibilities

• Provide perinatal nutrition and lactation care for pregnancy and postpartum.
• 1:1 and group visits by video, phone, and app.
• Manage nutrition care for pregnancy including gestational diabetes and diabetes in pregnancy.
• Lead group lactation support and education classes.
• Create breastfeeding and chestfeeding protocols for telemedicine.
• Build and maintain nutrition and lactation protocols for virtual care.
• Obtain additional state licenses over time and support colleagues as the team grows.
