Description

We are seeking a Virtual Rebate Program Specialist to join our virtual team-based customer support setting. The VRPS will serve as a point of contact for customers seeking education about rebate programs associated with our products, managing targeted accounts and developing relationships with key decision makers.

The primary responsibility is to communicate, educate, and explain rebate programs to practices and practice leadership using approved messaging and materials. The VRPS should possess clinical, business, and analytical acumen, as well as payer coverage and reimbursement knowledge, to ensure practices understand the products and patient access landscape.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop virtual relationships with key medical and office staff of targeted practices.
  • Profile and understand client/product programs to align with customer needs for impactful conversations.
  • Proactively promote rebate contracts within targeted accounts.
  • Understand trends and impacts within the ophthalmology landscape to identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and customer profiling skills.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of virtual pharma or healthcare sales experience supporting field-facing commercial roles.
  • Experience in buy and bill marketplace.
  • Proven leadership and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop engagement plans.

Preferred: Ophthalmology experience.
