Job summary

Synapse Virtual Production is seeking a Virtual Production Operator to support the technical execution of virtual production at the Atlanta studio—a facility developed with Tyler Perry Studios on the Tyler Perry Studios campus.

You will work with the Virtual Production Supervisor to run Disguise projects and Unreal Engine environments for in-camera VFX shooting workflows across feature films, TV, and other productions. A strong background in Unreal Engine and VFX pipelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, including Blueprints, Livelink and tracking systems.
• Experience with VFX pipelines and on-set workflows for virtual production.
• Familiarity with Disguise hardware and content pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VP Supervisor to run Disguise Projects and Unreal Engine environments for in-camera VFX workflows.
• Prepare and run 2D plates in Disguise, including ingest, versioning, and alignment.
• Assist with Unreal Engine setup, calibration, and operations during preproduction and shoots.
• Identify and implement customizations or blueprint needs for environments and plates.
• Maintain high quality and speed in virtual production workflows.
