We are seeking a virtual skilled Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal.

In this role, you’ll do more than manage files-you’ll guide families through some of life’s most important transitions with precision, compassion, and professionalism. Manage estate administration timelines and maintain compliance with court and statutory deadlines. Communicate with executors, beneficiaries, court staff, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather required information. Research and resolve title, creditor, and asset transfer issues.
  • Estate Planning: Draft, proofread, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. Assist attorneys with gathering and organizing client information to prepare estate plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain organized digital and physical files for estate planning clients. Coordinate the execution of estate planning documents, including scheduling signings and notarizations.
  • Client & Case Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professionalism and empathy while managing sensitive personal matters. Conduct initial intake and gather detailed information for new probate and estate planning matters. Track matter progress, proactively follow up on outstanding items, and keep attorneys informed.
  • Administrative & Organizational Support: Maintain detailed case management notes and update legal practice management systems. Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and client communication for attorney review. Assist with billing preparation and tracking billable time. Organize and manage deadlines through court dockets, tickler systems, and calendaring tools.

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to independently distill complex information.
  • Confidence in making decisions under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office products.
