Job Description

We’re launching a new primary care program to serve members without a PCP—starting with hands-on, virtual, one-on-one care, and scaling a model that reimagines how compassionate, high-quality primary care is delivered. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of care while leading with heart, humility, and impact.

Required skills and experience:

• A board-certified Primary Care Physician with at least three years of clinical experience. Must hold an active medical license in at least one U.S. state. Support for licensure in additional states will be provided.
• Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners or other healthcare professionals. Prior experience managing a clinic or clinical program is highly desirable.

Desired skills and experience:

• Proven ability to manage change and drive innovation in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Experience with virtual primary care is a plus but not required.
• Experience serving diverse patient populations, with a focus on delivering equitable care aligned with our mission. Passion for measuring and improving primary care quality across populations.

A bit about this role:

Devoted Medical, our affiliated virtual care delivery partner, seeks a Primary Care Physician to help scale our efforts. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality primary care, supervising Nurse Practitioners, and developing our primary care programs. Our patients benefit from industry-leading technology, clinical and community outreach, and a suite of virtual programs including urgent care, complex care, chronic disease management, and behavioral health. Our mission is to treat every member like family.

Responsibilities and Impact include:

• Clinical Leadership: Deliver primary care, optimize therapy, and provide supervision to Nurse Practitioners, fostering a collaborative environment. Clinical FTE will be at least 50%, subject to change as the clinic scales.
• Program Oversight & Development: Build and improve our primary care model, monitor performance via KPIs such as patient satisfaction, quality, and access, and drive program growth. This role will evolve as the program expands.
• Change Management & Innovation: Lead innovation and process improvements in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Virtual Care Experience: Experience preferred but not essential; adaptability to a tech-driven environment is crucial.
• Foster a patient-centered and open clinical culture, advocate for equity and accessibility, and provide feedback on clinical tools and systems.
