You will be a virtual part of a clinical oncology/hematology environment, impacting the future of clinical research and patient lives, while growing professionally in a dynamic, fast-growing startup.

As an oncology Virtual Physician Partner II (VPP II), you will work virtually in outpatient oncology/hematology clinics, assisting healthcare providers during visits. Your role is to enhance data accuracy and completeness at the point of care, reviewing patient charts, creating oncological histories, and capturing key variables for clinical trial pre-screening. You will serve as a vital interface between the clinical site and research execution, making a difference in healthcare.

Roles And Responsibilities
  1. Virtually accompany healthcare providers during scheduled visits to assist with clinical notes.
  2. Represent the company at the clinical practice, supporting clinical data quality.
  3. Prepare charts aligned with provider needs and document clinical activities.
  4. Identify missing information for trial pre-screening and prompt providers accordingly.
  5. Use EMR systems to document all clinical activities, procedures, assessments, and orders.
  6. Ensure compliance with protocol requirements and data standards.
  7. Remind providers of relevant evaluations and support data integrity.
  8. Review completed charts with providers as needed.
  9. Maintain data quality, confidentiality, and adherence to SOPs and GCP.
  10. Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  1. 3+ years of medical documentation experience and 6+ months in oncology/hematology.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in healthcare-related fields preferred.
  3. Experience in clinical research and GCP certification are advantages.
  4. Deep knowledge of provider documentation and medical terminology.
  5. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, HIPAA-compliant home environment.
  9. Strong communication skills in English.
  10. Ability to work aligned with clinic hours and type 60 wpm (preferred).
  11. Generous, Curious & Humble attitude.
Travel
  • Up to 10% travel required; international travel not currently needed.
Pay Information
  • Hourly range: $32.00 - $38.00, based on experience and location.
  • Offers equity, discretionary bonus, and benefits for 30+ hours/week.
