Beacon Talent seeks a physician to join a virtual obesity treatment program delivering pharmacotherapy, coaching, and longitudinal care. This remote U.S. role supports telemedicine, conducts comprehensive evaluations, and develops personalized treatment plans including GLP-1 therapies.

Candidates must hold MD/DO with an active U.S. license, board certification in a related specialty, and an active DEA; licensure in multiple states and Spanish proficiency are highly valued.

Formación

• MD/DO with active U.S. medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology or related
• Active DEA registration required
• 2+ years of post-residency clinical practice
• Experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 therapies for weight management
• Comfort with telemedicine workflows and virtual patient relationships
• Active licensure in at least three U.S. states
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish
• ABOM certification or interest in pursuing it is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations, including metabolic workup review and comorbidity assessment
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy where clinically indicated
• Prescribe and titrate semaglutide, tirzepatide, and adjunct agents, managing side effects and plateaus
• Review labs and adjust plans across the maintenance phase
• Collaborate with dietitians and coaches on non-pharmacologic components of care
• Document thoroughly to support prior authorization and continuity of care
