Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse with a BSN and at least 5 years of diversified direct clinical nursing experience to join our obstetrics and women's health teams in a virtual care setting. This role requires state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) and a BLS certification within 6 months of hire; prior Labor and Delivery, Women's Health, or PICU/Pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a registered nursing program and a BSN.
• Minimum of 5 years diversified direct clinical nursing experience.
• State licensure in practice state or eligibility for licensure and for other state licensure.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• OBGYN specialty experience preferred (Labor & Delivery, Women's Health, or related areas).
• Pediatrics-related experience (PICU, Pediatric care, Urgent Care) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work requires analytical skills and knowledge of complex OBGYN patients and anatomy.
• Excellent communication with patients and families over phone and video.
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with coworkers and medical staff in a virtual care setting.
• Ability to monitor multiple patients and coordinate within a care team.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse patient population.
• Be a team leader directing patient health care needs.
