Job description
Function/Duties of Position

This position is under the supervision of the Chair of the Department of Neurology. The duties of this position are in support of the mission goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine. This is a per diem 0 FTE appointment within the Department of Neurology.

Clinical Responsibilities: He/She/They will be scheduled as needed for shift coverage at OHSU, Adventist Health Portland (AHPL) in Portland, Oregon, Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) in Hillsboro, Oregon and/or St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon (night only) virtually.

He/she/they will provide virtual patient care on the NeuroHospitalist service including telehealth video and/or phone evaluations, consults, etc. Shifts are 12-hours in duration and a combination of weekdays and weekends, including some holidays.

Compensation for the position is based on per shift and per session (clinic) rate.

Required Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O., and Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist.
  • Approved staff privileges at OHSU, Adventist Portland, St. Charles Medical Center and/or Hillsboro Medical Center for MD/DO.
