Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Virtual ICU Nocturnist specialized in Neuro Critical Care to join our growing team supporting one of the nation's leading academic medical centers.

This physician will provide expert virtual care for critically ill patients with a focus on neurocritical conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes across the Houston Methodist system.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Neurocritical Care or equivalent subspecialty training.
• Board certification in Neurocritical Care is preferred.
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain Texas license.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert virtual ICU care for critically ill patients with a focus on neurocritical conditions.
• Collaborate with intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and APPs to coordinate patient management.
• Utilize tele-ICU infrastructure to deliver timely, safe and effective care.
• Maintain clinical excellence and patient-centered care in a telemedicine setting.
