Occasional travel is required for state testing and events. The position is full-time, with a base salary around $47,000 and eligibility for a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and active state teaching license.
• Experience teaching in online education environments and/or brick-and-mortar settings.
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate with other teachers to analyze student data and inform instruction.
• Comfort maintaining a professional home office and adherence to typical school day hours.

Responsibilities

• Augments course content using policies and procedures with asynchronous and synchronous tools.
• Maintains grade book and tracks student progress, placement and promotions.
• Supports learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic tech troubleshooting.
• Travels approximately 20% of the time for professional development and student testing.
