Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time Clinical Instructor for the Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program within the Department of Psychiatry. The position requires a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling or related field and active North Carolina licensure (LCSW or LCMHC).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling or a relevant field is required.
• Full North Carolina licensure to practice (LCSW or LCMHC); provisional licenses are not eligible.
• Experience with adolescents and young adults, and group therapy, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide short-term therapy (individual/family) and group therapy.
• Deliver case management and coordinate with patients, families and care teams.
• Document all clinical work in the EMR within required timeframes and participate in team meetings.
