Job summary

Tutored by Teachers offers virtual, part-time tutoring across the United States. We seek K-12 ELA and Math tutors who are ELL-certified or ELD-experienced and available during school hours (10am-5pm EST).

This role is online-only and does not require classroom attendance, with flexible hours and engaging opportunities. Compensation typically starts around $28-$32 per hour plus a 10% bonus, with higher rates for certain engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching K-12 ELA and/or Math in the classroom.
• ELL Certified, ELD, or SPED certified.
• Experience teaching in an online environment.
• Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom.
• Ability to tutor virtually for 30min-60min sessions between 10AM-5PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual small group instruction to K-12 students.
• Tutor during 10am-5pm EST.
• Engage with students across the country and provide session notes.
