Job Title: Data Engineering Co‑op – Salary: $22 per hour – Location: Des Moines, USA – Company: Wayfair – Hours: 40 hours per week (9am – 5pm, Mon‑Fri) – Duration: July10 – December15,2023

Responsibilities

• Put into effect large records structures and business analytics answers to empower stakeholders to clear up their fact‑driven analytics and reporting wishes
• Build suitable information structure, pipelines, reporting, exploration, and controls to enable self‑service business intelligence
• Increase curated records units that are without problems consumed through non‑technical users
• Associate with commercial enterprise users and engineers to construct the metrics and attributes required to deal with huge commercial enterprise wishes

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field with a strong academic record
• Committed to working 40 hours per week from July10,2023 to December15,2023
• Capacity to execute on technical requirements for complex enterprise needs
• Collaborative and keen to work with business reporting and engineering teams to implement analytics solutions
• Experience working with terabyte‑sized data sets to design scalable and robust analytical solutions
• Proficiency in SQL
• Solid business acumen and problem‑solving talents
• Experience in data‑driven solutions, reporting, algorithms, or data integration structures
• Proficiency with at least one programming language, preferably Python, Scala, Java or C++
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
