Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Implement large‑scale data systems and analytics solutions to enable stakeholders to answer analytical and reporting needs.
• Build appropriate data architecture, pipelines, reporting layers, data exploration tools, and governance controls to support self‑service business intelligence.
• Curate and optimize data sets that are easily consumed by non‑technical users.
• Partner with business customers and engineering teams to design metrics and attributes required for large business initiatives.

Fundamental Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Systems, Economics, Management, or a related quantitative field, with a strong academic record.
• Available to work 40 hours per week (9am‑5pm, Monday‑Friday) from July10,2023 to December15,2023.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborative mindset, eager to partner with reporting and engineering teams.
• Enthusiasm for working with large‑scale data sets to build scalable, robust analytic solutions.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java, or C++), with Python highly desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Co‑op Details

Position: 6‑month full‑time, paid co‑op based in Boston (hybrid), requiring presence in office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the remaining days remote. Hours: 9am‑5pm, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.
