Job Title: Virtual Interior Designer I
Type: Contract (1 year, chance for conversion to permanent employment)
Location: Remote
Summary of Position:
As a Virtual Interior Designer I, you will be responsible for the design experience throughout the lifeline of a project. This includes working on entire home models to create beautiful interior spaces based on partner needs, standards, and strict quality requirements. This is a fast-paced role where you will virtually stage models for partners and collaborate with many other teams within our department such as Operations and Product/Engineering. The ideal applicant should have a genuine interest in staging homes and residential interior design with a willingness to learn and implement feedback from partners and team members. Previous experience in real estate, residential staging, or construction is highly recommended.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design full home interiors based on client needs, including space planning, lighting, and product selections
• Produce static renders and virtual tours aligned with project timelines and quality standards
• Read and interpret floor plans, construction drawings, and architectural documents
• Style merchandising models using design presentations and spec documents
• Collaborate cross-functionally and offer support to team members when needed
• Manage multiple project timelines and maintain accurate updates across systems
• Conduct 3D model quality checks and coordinate with Technical Designers and 3D Ops teams
• Help resolve technical issues and generate virtual tours in support of technical teams
• Bring a background in interior design, architecture, or related experience; residential staging is a plus
• Tech-savvy with tools like Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Airtable; strong multitasking and remote collaboration skills required
