Qualifikationen

• Must reside within the state of Arkansas or live 300 miles from Bentonville, AR
• Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Social Studies in Arkansas
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft OS, MS Office and Google Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events (occasional overnight travel)
• Ability to work remotely
• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.

Aufgaben

• Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner
• Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction
• Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding
• Communicate with parents, students and other teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules
• Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure progress and maintain communication with families
• Develop knowledge of the program’s K-12 curriculum and detailed knowledge of courses assigned
• Support students and parents with alternate strategies and daily assignments
• Communicate regularly with parents and curriculum specialists through computer and phone
• Keep student records and data up-to-date
• Consult with staff to develop enrichment activities and modifications
• Coordinate social activities and field trips
• Manage regional field trips and integrate trips into curriculum
• Devise and implement virtual community-building methods
• Participate in State Testing organization
• Participate in student recruiting and marketing events
• Work with counselors to ensure progress and goals
• Attend field trips and community activities
