Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group in collaboration with The Virtual Medicine Department at Houston Methodist is seeking a Nocturnal Virtual Hospitalist.

The Virtual Hospitalist program provides Virtual Hospitalist Medicine coverage to the Houston Methodist regional sites with ER presence strategically located throughout the Houston area.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  1. Strongly prefer candidates who have experience with virtual care delivery
  2. Board Certification: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  3. A Texas Medical License or ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
  4. Must currently reside in Texas, Georgia, or Washington
  5. Must have the ability to work independently, and in a collaborative manner
  6. Previous computer experience required
  7. High speed home internet
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enhanced virtual care skills
  9. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals across a system
