Job summary

Nevada Connections Academy is seeking a certified Spanish teacher to remotely manage high school instructional programs from Nevada. The role requires grading, progress reporting, and regular conferences with learning coaches and students to ensure program completion.

Candidates must hold a Nevada high school Spanish teaching credential, demonstrate strong technology skills, and communicate effectively. Opportunities include remote work and occasional travel for state testing and marketing

Qualifications

• Nevada teaching credential for high school Spanish required.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft OS and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events.
• Ability to work remotely if needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner.
• Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction.
• Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons.
• Communicate with parents, students and other teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules, score assessments, provide feedback on student work, monitor completion of assignments and coach special projects.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure progress and coordinate field trips and school activities.
• Develop knowledge of the program’s K-12 curriculum and detailed knowledge of assigned courses.
