Qualifications

Role Description

As a Virtual Financial Advisor at Thrivent, you’ll:

  1. Guide Christians and others who align with Thrivent’s mission and values to create and maintain their financial plans, enabling lives of service and faith.

  2. Meet with clients virtually to provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs.

  3. Have access to a large existing client base, and have the ability to help your friends, family and natural market.

  4. Access robust tools like the Thrivent Planning Platform, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro and Morningstar.

  5. Get the support of a collaborative culture with colleagues who want you to be successful and are willing to help you do so.

  6. Flexibility to work from home.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.

  2. The following licenses must be currently active or obtained within 90 days of hire - Life and Health, Series 7, Series 66.

  3. State insurance licensed and appointed in life, health and variable lines of authority or obtained within 90 days.

  4. Eligibility to be securities registered and insurance licensed in all 50 states.

  5. Sales experience.

  6. Previous experience with Salesforce (or a similar CRM), financial planning, consultative sales models (or similar strategies) is an advantage.

  7. Satisfactory background check (criminal and financial).
