Job Description

Responsible for creating or auditing comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, leading to proper disposition. Responsible for training, mentoring, controlling quality, and providing technical assistance on material damage claims.

This role is a remote opportunity in Arizona, California, or Texas and requires proficiency with virtual claims/estimate writing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possesses strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
  • Deep understanding of all policy types written by the company.
  • Negotiates settlements, processes payments, and documents activities across complex files and multiple lines.
  • Evaluates settlement options by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on the best options.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines.

Education

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role ranges from $26.20 to $39.00 hourly, based on experience and qualifications.

Total compensation may include additional factors such as incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.).
