Job Description

This role involves supporting members and providers through care and service facilitation. Responsibilities include handling calls related to healthcare benefits, administering intake documentation, and providing outstanding service to internal and external customers. The goal is to resolve caller needs on the first contact and meet quality standards.

Key duties include:

  1. Researching and communicating medical information regarding services, claims, eligibility, benefits, and inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
  2. Meeting performance indicators and demonstrating compassion.
  3. Responding to crisis calls with appropriate resources.
  4. Facilitating referrals and triage decisions.
  5. Accurately entering patient information into systems.
  6. Supporting team activities and self-development.
  7. Staying updated on operational changes.
  8. Identifying operational inefficiencies and participating in improvement activities.
  9. Navigating systems and documenting customer comments accurately.
