This part-time Virtual Community Coordinator is part of the Member Services Team and will provide responsive, mission-aligned support to mothers and daughters participating in NCL’s Virtual Community. This team member will assist with program implementation, provide technical and logistical guidance, help maintain a cohesive user experience, respond to member inquiries, and ensure virtual tools and resources are effectively utilized. They will work in close collaboration with volunteers, NCL, Inc. staff, and program leads to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Respond to calls, emails, and support requests from Virtual Community members regarding access, scheduling, platform navigation, and participation
- Assist in onboarding new mother-daughters and guide them through the tools and expectations of the Virtual Community
- Set up Virtual Cohorts based on the best interests of the members
- Support coordination and facilitation of virtual events, including Teas, Senior Recognition, leadership programs, and philanthropy experiences
- Help maintain and update resources and Virtual Community content on the NCL website
- Track member engagement and feedback, providing reports and suggestions for improvements
- Educate participants on NCL policies and program standards
- Coordinate with National Volunteers and program leaders to ensure effective delivery of content and communications
- Partner with the Virtual Community team, Volunteers and Staff, to create a welcoming and organized experience for all members
- Support growth initiatives by hosting information sessions and collaborating with marketing on outreach
Education and Experience Qualifications
- A four-year degree in business, education, communications, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, virtual program coordination, or customer service preferred
- Experience supporting online learning communities or virtual youth programming a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, Digital Cheetah, or similar systems is preferred
- Knowledge of or experience with NCL programming is a plus
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Drive
- Comfortable with Zoom, online forms, and collaborative tools
- Familiarity with virtual community engagement strategies
- Ability to communicate clearly with members of all ages and technological skill levels
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with volunteers and staff
Virtual Environment Expectations
- Must be comfortable working remotely with consistent access to reliable internet
- Frequent use of Zoom, email, shared drives, and virtual communication tools
- Ability to attend virtual meetings, including occasional evening events, as needed
