About the Role

Laboratory Express is seeking a Virtual Chat Support representative to provide online customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Work from home while helping people access important laboratory testing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to online chat inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
  • Assist with test scheduling, appointment booking, and location information
  • Answer questions about test preparation, insurance coverage, and billing
  • Process basic patient information requests and provide general laboratory information
  • Escalate complex medical or technical questions to appropriate laboratory staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all chat interactions in CRM system
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service, chat support, or call center experience preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills and fast, accurate typing
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask between multiple chat windows
  • Reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently from home
  • No healthcare experience required - comprehensive training in laboratory services and medical terminology provided!
Remote Work Requirements
